18 goats for 18 families

In August, we were able to carry out a very special project in Mgora, Tanzania: Thanks to your generous support, 18 families each received a goat.

Why goats?
For families in Tanzania, a goat is so much more than just an animal. It provides fresh milk every day, which is especially important for children as it contains valuable nutrients. Any surplus milk can be sold, enabling families to buy essential items such as medicine or school supplies for their children.
A single goat can therefore bring food, income, and hope.

The joy at the handover was immense. For many families, a goat is a new beginning – a chance to make life just a little easier.

But that wasn’t all:
At the end of the project, there was still a small amount of money left over – not quite enough to buy another goat. Emmanuel therefore decided to use the funds wisely and purchased maize seeds instead.
These were distributed to 24 families, allowing them to grow their own maize.
Maize is the most important staple food in Tanzania, and these seeds are a valuable way for families to sustainably provide for themselves.

We are deeply grateful that we were able to carry out these projects and proud of the trust you place in us. Every donation, every gesture of support, and every open heart makes a difference – and together, we can achieve so much.
