Christmas is very close to all our hearts. But especially for Justina. And as she is currently in Mgora, she has started a great initiative.
“Give a smile at Christmas”
She wants to make children’s eyes light up at Christmas and bring them joy with a small gift. And also organize a small Christmas party. Where the children sit together, listen to Christmas music, eat and drink together and play games together.
What a wonderful idea!
We have already collected donations for the Christmas project and Justina has already bought a few things. Books, pencils, sharpeners, stickers, balls, beads, soft toys, gym bags, sweets and much more. She personally wraps each gift and adds a photo of the kindergarten as a memory for the children.
Update January 2024:
In mid-December, before the start of the vacations, we held a small Christmas party for the kids at TENEBO Kindergarten. Board member Justina put a lot of heart into our Christmas project so that every child received a small gift, along with a celebration. We would like to thank all the donators for the Christmas project.
Special thanks also goes to Justina for her huge commitment and dedication to the TENEBO kindergarten.
And that was not all. Justina had even received donations to bring a smile to the children at the next primary school in Chang’ombe. As a result, over 240 children received a small school kit (exercise books, pens, …) as well as a sweet and a drink.
