Association chairman Emmanuel and vice chairman Melanie flew to Tanzania at the end of December, taking four full suitcases with them. Of these, 3.5 suitcases were full of donated clothing and hygiene articles. Our flights were of course financed by ourselves and in no way by donations.
As Emmanuel comes from Tanzania, they are both looking forward to seeing the family again and there are also a lot of plans for TENEBO.
We were able to distribute the following during our stay:
- Donated clothes for over 100 children
- 40 pcs. Children’s toothbrushes and toothpaste
- 3 pcs. footballs
- Some toys
- Donated telephones
- medicines
- Balloons
- A wheelchair including backpack, sweater, toys and 100kg of corn (see the article here)
